A Thanksgiving Feast at Cambridge!

Wooh! What a busy day at Loaves and Fishes Meal Program. We celebrated Thanksgiving this Saturday with traditional dishes like roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and more! The room was filled with music played by a guest musician, dance, and festive cheer.
As a special appetizer, we served shrimp cocktail (which was delicious). Then we served a hot meal of stuffing, squash, beans, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, and what would be a thanksgiving without turkey. This was followed by some amazing desserts as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and conversation they shared. While all that was going on, we had the pantry and winter packages given out. At one side of the room, a long table full of pantry items were set up ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to small meals and snacks. Right next to it was the winter package donations where people can take a pair of gloves, socks, and under garments along with a bag with necessary items like blankets, hats, and scarves.
