Busy Serving Cambridge

At the Loaves and Fishes Meal Program on Saturday, we served delicious burritos from a local restaurant. It was a beautiful day! Everyone had a great time socializing and sharing meals. The iced coffee was quite popular, and the pantry had an ample variety of food.

Because there were fewer volunteers than usual, it was a busier day. That didn’t stop us. One man told me all his funny stories about him fighting other people.

As I was serving the burritos, some asked for extras to share with the people who live with them. It was very touching to see the love and care each person has for one another. Not only is the meal program a great opportunity to serve people in our community, but it’s also a place where I learned a lot about myself and others around me.

Thank you everyone for contributing and helping!
