Fishes and Loaves Program at Cambridge

After the lemonade stand… Our next destination…Fishes and Loaves meal program!! We balanced the receiving part of our day (the lemonade stand) with a bit of giving. Held at the First Korean Church in Cambridge, the meal program offered people in need of safe space to replenish themselves with hot food (pizza from Oath Pizza!) through our kitchen, drinks through the beverage stand, and groceries through the pantry line with groceries from Whole Foods. All went well and steadily with just a few bumps that were quickly smoothed out due to the vigilance and dedication of the Giving Tree members, volunteers, and fellow members of the Korean Church. After a laborious yet triumphant day of work, we wrapped things up with a game of cards and a hearty dinner.
