Lemonade Fundraising at Minuteman Trail

This Saturday at the Minuteman Trail, we sold and prepared homemade lemonade to raise funds for Giving Tree. We made lemon syrup from fresh lemons and organic sugar. We wanted to not only provide the best quality for the receivers of Giving Tree, but also the donors of Giving Tree. We were slightly worried that we would not be able to sell any but were able to raise a lot of funds. We plan to use our funds to gift necessities to recipitents of the Fishes and Loaves Program.

We are so grateful to everyone that allowed this event to happen. A quick thank you to everyone that served:

Preparing cups and lemonade

After the lemonade stand, we served lemonade at the Fishes and Loaves program in Cambridge. Everyone loved the icy drink in the sweltering heat. Maybe it was the lemonade, maybe it was not (I am pretty sure it was), the mood was bright and friendly and everyone was smiling. I know for sure that it was the people that allowed for a warm environment.
